Bell Park Kerridge was formed in 2000 when its founding partners left a large regional practice to set up a new, modern and flexible firm based in Cumbria. Since then the firm has established itself as one of the leading practices in the North of England and has gained a reputation for providing sound practical advice, quickly and at a competitive price.
Regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Bell Park Kerridge complies with professional and practice management standards and undertakes regular internal risk audits. Since 2002 Bell Park Kerridge has held the Lexcel Quality Mark, this prestigious accreditation is the Law Society’s practice management standard, holding the status requires rigorous independent assessment, ensuring the highest standards of excellence are met.
We are also compliant with the government’s Cyber Essentials scheme. Our ICT defences have been assessed and are deemed strong and powerful enough to prevent commodity based cyber-attacks.
In 2007 Bell Park Kerridge incorporated the well established David Burnett & Co and moved to newly built, state of the art offices at Parkhouse, the out of town location is easily accessible from the M6 and provides ample free parking for clients.
In May 2011 the firm’s membership of the Law Society’s accreditation scheme; the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) was approved. At the time of joining the scheme only one other firm in Carlisle had achieved CQS.
