DEBT RECOVERY FEES

There are various costs involved for our Debt Recovery service.

Costs include;

  • Letter before action fee
  • Issuing proceedings
  • Requesting judgements
  • Enforcement proceedings

These are dependent on the type of work involved. Each stage and its costs will be discussed with you before we commence any work on your behalf.

There are various disbursements including court fees, trace fees and land registry fees. The requirement for these and their associated costs will be discussed with you before we commence any work on your behalf.

There is no VAT payable on court fees. There may be VAT payable on other fees but these will be discussed with you before we commence work on your behalf.

We will attend to all matters involved in the Debt Recovery process, from sending an initial letter before action to issuing proceedings and enforcement proceedings. We will also deal with any disputed claims from the filing of a defence to attending the final hearing.

  • Letter before action – 14 to 30 days from receiving your instructions.
  • Issuing proceedings / Requesting Judgment – Up to 30 days after letter before action
  • Enforcement – Up to 12 months after Judgment
